Owner and President Rusty Chinnis: has been a resident of Longboat Key for twenty seven years and is well versed in the intricacies of building and remodeling on a barrier island. We have a wealth  of experience helping clients understand local building codes as well as  Federal Emergency Management Standards (FEMA). We enjoy an excellent rapport with both building officials and the Longboat Key Staff.  It is our aim to help you get the most from your  real estate investment.

Susan Schade: Susan Schade’s work experience spans more than thirty years beginning as a real estate settlement agent for the developers of the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. She was subsequently employed by The Rouse Company of Columbia, Maryland, acquiring expertise in land development and construction during her ten years with the company. At Rouse, Schade worked as assistant to the construction manager and as office manager for Bayside Marketplace in Miami, Florida. Over the years Schade was involved in numerous construction projects where she coordinated projects with construction managers, project managers, and developers. The projects included high end custom homes, multi-family, mid-rise and high rise condominiums. She brings her skills and experience to Rusty Chinnis Contractor, Inc. as office manager, overseeing day to day project coordination as well providing administrative support.

     Our offices are conveniently located on Longboat Key at the Centre Shops. Here we maintain a full time presence that allows clients to contact us whenever the need arises. Our phones are staffed eight to ten hours a day and we can also be reached by voice mail, cell phone, fax or e-mail. We are fully computerized with an array of programs that let us stay up to date with the numerous details that make or break a construction project. We do a large number of project for clients who are not in residence and can communicate updates via digital images attached to email. 
 
      Our suppliers and sub-contractors share our high standards and provide dependable service and on-time delivery to move our jobs towards a timely completion.
